When creating the branding for this design exhibition, we wanted to let the work that would be displayed speak louder than the branding of the show. It came down to the idea that some things should just be neutral; it shouldn't have any inherent meaning in itself, thus having meaning.

Not only did we design a poster series, we also created other series of printed items. We wanted to really create something that pulled heavily from a spacial and typographical design point. We feel we did just that and the cohesion of the posters really came together.

Utilizing the treatment of the "A" in the main logo, we did an extensive research into other words that we could use throughout our identity. The research resulted in an extensive list of words taht we could pull from when creating our wayfinding signage or other copy.
